Shooting through crowds can be as rewarding as it can be frustrating. Somebody moves, and the moment is lost, though when the movement is synchronised, even unwittingly, a composition is created. Such images have no depth of meaning; they are either pleasing, or not. Incidentally, cake inflation has taken its toll over the years and it's no longer five for £1.00.
The Japanese company Cosina introduced the Bessaflex TM in 2003 and discontinued it in 2007. It was a remarkable late run at the shrinking 35mm market, but the camera was an imaginative update on a design that had become popular in the 1960s, and had one of the brightest viewfinders you're ever likely to come across. It was a brief geek moment.
