Creativity is not making something out of nothing as many a Romantic might suggest, since nothing comes from nothing, but taking stuff, any stuff, and changing it. From the important to the trivial, with great mess or with great subtlety, if you start with one thing and end with something different, then something new has been created. It's an application of physics.
These abstracts take shape beyond focus, blurring aspects of the body into light and dark. Lines and planes have equal importance as the distinction between them is erased. A TLR camera is good for this sort of task but it requires working very close to the model, who needs to be very comfortable with the set up. It also demands good light.
