Street Musician

This gent is quite an accomplished rhythm player of ethnic percussion instruments, and a few others besides. He looks more out of place in the middle of Swansea's shopping streets than he sounds as, like most buskers, he helps the traffic of people as they move along. Swansea Council usually supports a number of busking pitches in the city centre.

Matt the Pipe

Where do you go to practice when you have relatives visiting over the Christmas holidays? If it's bagpipes, then out on the mountain may be the only option. My plan that day was to take some shots of Gellionen chapel but coming across Matt was a welcome diversion. It is rare that I crop from 35mm format to square, but cropping helps bring him forward in the frame.
